Agriturismo La Burraia

As our guests tell us, La Burraia is a true oasis of peace in the green heart of Tuscany. With only 6 apartments—all spacious, with private verandas—tranquility is guaranteed. Our large swimming pool (15×7.5 meters) is surrounded by private gazebos, spaced far apart from each other, creating a relaxing and harmonious atmosphere.

Agriturismo La Burraia is located in the heart of Tuscany, in a wide green valley about 400 meters above sea level, sheltered to the north from the winds, with a view of the picturesque towers of Volterra, close to San Gimignano, Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, allowing you to explore these authentic jewels without giving up the tranquility of country life.

Where Are We

Being strategically located, La Burraia is an excellent starting point for visiting the artistic treasures of Tuscan cities. In fact, we are halfway between Florence, the capital as well as the cradle of the Florentine Renaissance, and Siena, an undisputed medieval jewel and only a few kilometers from the charming villages of San Gimignano (12 minutes by car), Volterra and Certaldo, reachable in 20 minutes. Pisa with its characteristic leaning tower is less than an hour’s drive away.

At your disposal there is a beautiful swimming pool of 15×7 meters, surrounded by a large garden of 3500 square meters which makes this tourist residence the ideal place to spend a vacation of relaxation and peace in nature.

Characterized by a rustic style, the apartments of the Burraia have an equipped kitchenette, a living area with sofa, a private veranda with table and chairs to dine al fresco The private bathroom is complete with hairdryer.

Nearby you can enjoy activities such as golf, cycling and horseback riding. On-site parking is free. San Gimignano is very close (12 minutes by car), Volterra can be reached in 20 minutes and Siena is 54 km away.
